You … A Stranger?

He was a stranger,

Just a face in the crowd,

His words did not matter,

His silence didn’t shout,

But you,

You were my own,

Closest to my heart,

Your silence cut me deeper,

Your words tore me apart,

Before I faded,

Became a shadow of the past,

I realised,

You are now a different person,

A stranger,

Just another face in the crowd.

Amazing! It brought me bitter memories but I loved reading it.
